Registration & assignment terms.

These Terms apply when you register with Behaviour Shift Promotional Agency Ltd (“Behaviour Shift”) and accept assignments through us.

1. Registration & assignments

Registration does not guarantee work. You are free to accept or decline any assignment offered.

Each assignment will be confirmed separately with the relevant role, client, location, dates, hours, rate, dress requirements and brief.

Once you accept an assignment, you agree to honour the booking and agreed requirements.

2. Professional standards

When representing Behaviour Shift, you must arrive on time and prepared, follow the agreed brief and reasonable on-site instructions, meet any agreed dress requirements and behave professionally and respectfully.

Personal phone use is not permitted while actively working, except during authorised breaks or emergencies. Work-related use is permitted where required.

You must not attend an assignment under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation or other inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

3. Cancellations

If illness or an emergency prevents you from attending an accepted assignment, contact Behaviour Shift as soon as reasonably possible.

Client requirements may occasionally change or assignments may be cancelled. Where this happens, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. Any applicable cancellation payment will depend on the individual assignment terms.

4. Pay & invoicing

Your rate will be confirmed before you accept an assignment.

Submit a valid invoice to sammi@behaviourshift.com within 7 days of completing the assignment. Valid invoices will normally be paid by bank transfer within 30 days of receipt.

Payment for work properly completed will not depend on Behaviour Shift first receiving payment from the client.

Expenses must be authorised in advance unless otherwise agreed.

5. Self-employed status

Behaviour Shift intends to engage promotional personnel as self-employed contractors under a contract for services where the circumstances support that status under UK law.

Where you are self-employed for tax purposes, you are responsible for your own Income Tax, National Insurance and HMRC obligations.

Nothing in these Terms overrides any employment, worker or tax status or statutory rights that may apply under UK law.

6. Right to work

You must have the legal right to undertake work in the UK and provide genuine, current information or documents where reasonably required.

7. Confidentiality, data & property

Confidential information relating to Behaviour Shift, its clients or campaigns must not be shared without permission, including unreleased material on social media.

You must follow applicable data-protection instructions and look after and return any uniform, passes, equipment, stock or other property provided for an assignment.

Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Health & safety

You must follow reasonable health and safety instructions and promptly report any accident, hazard, inappropriate behaviour or safety concern.

9. Client relationships

If a Behaviour Shift client approaches you directly about work connected with an introduction, assignment or campaign arranged through us, you must tell us.

You must not deliberately bypass Behaviour Shift in relation to an existing assignment or campaign.

10. General

Behaviour Shift may remove you from an assignment or stop offering future assignments where there are reasonable grounds, including misconduct, repeated non-attendance, dishonesty, breach of confidentiality or failure to follow an agreed brief.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and do not remove any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
